Sideways Triangle Scarf

Today I finished what is now my favorite self-made piece! The combo of Vinnis Colours and Katia Marea Egyptian cotton is beautiful, soft and drapes nicely. Perfect accessory for temperamental Cape Town weather!

The free pattern is available from Churchmouse Yarns & Teas

Did you know that Vinnis Colours 100% cotton is hand dyed and hand balled here in Cape Town! Check out Woolhogs online shop's stunning range of Vinnies Colours yarn - click here to go shop NOW!

I am proud to say that my scarf has received a recent Voter's Choice Award in the Woolhogs February "Made It Challenge"!

I am also participating in the Hookin on Hump Day Link Party for the Fibre Arts! Grab a coffee and head over to be inspired by fabulous crafting and freebie patterns!

  2. I LOVE it! Did you use the Baktus scarf pattern? I absolutely love the Baktus scarves that did the rounds on all the Norwegian blogs a few years ago. Sooo pretty! Your mix of yarns are super too.

    1. Ah, I see it is a different pattern as per previous posting. Have a look at the Baktus scarves, I think you would like them, they come in normal as well as skinny versions and all sorts of stitches but my favourite is this version http://www.flickr.com/photos/83952633@N00/8823641754
